Welcome to kennel Árperla, breeding of Icelandic Sheepdog. Árperla is Icelandic and means river pearl. This is a very suitable name because I think every Icelandic is a unique pearl. Icelandic Sheepdog is a steady and durable dog in a perfect packaging that like forest tours and that is excellent for activities such as track, obedience and agility, but also likes to take it easy indoors and relax with its family.

The people behind the kennel are I (Maria) and my fiancé Tomas. Our four-legged family members are the Icelandic Sheepdogs Asta and Valsa. We also have two cat girls, the mixture cat Zelda and the Norwegian forest cat Alva. On the farm we also have a small flock of Gotland Sheep.
