D: NUCH SUCH INTUCH Astvinur Dimmbrá

This is Dimmbrás second litter. It became one female and five males. The father of the litter is NUCH SUCH Garpur av Tussvoll. Dimmbrá is both Swedish, Norwegian and International champion and she belong to, in Sweden, the rare family group J1. Garpur is a very nice male with good temperament. He is also Norwegian and Swedish champion. He lives in the country in Norway with his family and cats, bunnies, chickens and a horse. This is also his second litter when his first was born in the autumn -06 in Bodø, Norway. Both Dimmbrá and Garpur have healthy hips (grade A), eyes ok and both have well-developed double dewclaws which are desirable for the breed. Garpur also have double claws at the right front leg. At the International dog show in Piteå, summer -2006, Dimmbrá became BOB and Garpur BOS. The judge was Sigridur Petursdottir from Iceland.

All the puppies have Icelandic names; Brana is said to be a troll-woman´s name, Breki is said to mean breaker, Baldur is the God of light and peace, Bjarki is drawn from the name Björk (birch), Bangsi means teddy bear and Bjarmi means light, glare, glow. All the puppies are registered as "red with white marks" and long haired. All the puppies have double dewclaws and Brana and Bjarki also have double claws at the right front leg. All the males, apart from Breki, had both their testicles in the right place for the veterinary examination when they were eight weeks old. Brekis second testicle fell in place when he was five months old.
The degree of inbreeding for this litter is 0 % according to SKK´s breeding data.

Árperla Brana, CGC

Brana has moved to Blackhavens Farm in Ohio, USA. On the farm there is; Icelandic sheep, Nubian goats, chickens and Great Pyrenees Mountain Dogs. In the house she has an Icelandic sheepdog friend that is called Poppi and a Jack Russell called Ronto. Brana has been on ISAA 10th anniversary event. She participated in their conformation show and got 2nd placed in her class. Unfortunately Brana has juvenile cataract. On Oct. 3, 2009 Brana passed her CGC test (Canine Good Citizen). Branas birth weight was 405 gram. The photo is from Shellie, Brana one year and ten months old.

Árperla Breki

Breki has moved to Västerås. In his family there is three children, three cats and a Hovawart named Rex. Katarina is practice some obedience and tracks with Rex and he and Breki are good friends. Breki likes his owner very much and Katarina is his favorite in the family. Breki has been on two official dog show and got second price in quality judgement. Breki has A-hips and his eyes are normal. Brekis birth weight was 349 gram.
Breki is one year and ten months old at the picture.

Árperla Baldur

Baldur has moved to Örnsköldsvik. His family contains of two children and a Finnish spitz named Kerki. Betty is a dog instructor and she and Baldur are practice tracks and compete in obedience. Baldur has 172.5 points in obedience class one so they are now in next level, class two. At Sundsvall international dog show -2008 Baldur got CAC, CACIB and became BOB. He got the same nice result in Norway Trondheim -2009. Baldur has participated in the Swedish MH (mentality test) and is shooting confident. He has also participated in Herding test. Baldur has A-hips and elbows with no remarks, also his eyes are normal.
Baldurs birth weight was 373 gram.

Árperla Bjarki

Bjarki has moved to Lavandel kennel in Michigan, USA. On the farm there is plenty of animals; Icelandic sheep, Icelandic chickens, horses, miniature donkeys and of course... Icelandic Sheepdogs. Bjarkis best friend on the farm is however Lauries daughter Fiona. He's basically at her hip all the time and loves to hear her read out loud to him. Bjarki is X-ray with a preliminary OFA of "good" and his PennHip is .40, also elbows and eyes are normal. Bjarkis birth weight was 418 gram. Árperla Bangsi

Bangsi has moved to Avesta. Apart from the humans in his family, Helena and Stefan, there is also two cats. Helena and Bangsi are practice agility which he likes very much and he is good. Stefans parents have a german shepherd named Ozzie and he and Bangsi are very good friends. Bangsi got first price in quality judgement at Avesta national dog show -2009. Bangsis eyes are normal and he has healthy hips (grade A and B). One elbow is normal but the other one has minor arthritis. Bangsis birth weight was 380 gram.
Bangsi is one year and five months old at the picture.

Árperla Bjarmi

Bjarmi has moved to Bardu, north of Norway. His family has a cottage in Bjørnefjell (Bear Mountain) which they often visit. Bjarmi and his family have visited a farm with Icelandic horses and both Bjarmi and the horses thought that the meeting was very interesting. Bjarmi became BOB-puppy in Tromsø international dog show -2007. At Harstad international dog show -2008 he got first price and price of honor. Bjarmis eyes are normal. One hip are normal but the other one has grade C. Bjarmis birth weight was 349 gram.
